What is the story behind the company?

Originating from a telecommunications company called Circles, we saw a gap in the roaming market where customers have been struggling with high roaming bills. The perception of using data overseas was such that it was expensive, inconvenient, and simply not worth their time. With the rapid advancement and penetration of eSIMs, we saw an opportunity in the market to address and change that mindset for travelers. 

What is your mission with Jetpac Global?

Simple. Our key mission is to create an ultimate digital travel solution for all the modern travelers out there. As technology is rapidly advancing, we have to keep evolving, and one of the things we are seeing is that there are alot of gaps digitally in a traveler’s journey, and we aim to bring that solution through Jetpac.

How are you unique in the marketplace?

While we first started as a data connectivity service, we do not plan to remain purely as one forever. Connectivity wil always be the core of our flagship product, but we’ve positioned ourselves uniquely in the space as a travel eSIM with value-added services for travelers looking for convenience, aside from the usual affordability and flexibility that eSIM services offer.

What different membership options do you offer?

Our flagship product is the one-time 30-day validity data packs that travelers can purchase and top up through the app once they’ve downloaded the eSIM.

Aside from that, we also offer longer-term plans that span over 180 days or 365 days to cover additional data needs for frequent travelers who do not want to repurchase every time they take off.

For nomads and frequent travelers, we’ve also crafted a separate plan called Jetflex, where they are able to subscribe to on a monthly basis for a set amount of global data, alongside added perks like lounge passes and fast track passes as part of their subscription.

What are your membership benefits?

Key benefits include lounge access, both free and discounted.

Free lounge access comes with every Jetpac eSIM purchased, customers simply need to pre-register their flights to gain access to that feature. For every flight that’s delayed for over an hour, customers will get a free lounge pass.

If they do not want to wait for flights to be delayed, they also have the option to purchase discounted lounge passes at over 40% off the usual retail prices (USD55/pass) and even higher discounts for bundled passes.

On top of that, we also provide discounted fast-track lane passes in certain regions at over 40% off for them to skip the long waiting time of airport lines.

How did you initially attract users and gain traction?

As a startup, when we decided to bring Jetpac to a global scale, it was done primarily through organic channels such as Social Media. On top of creating content, we worked with several key travel influencers to gain awareness of our product in key markets, alongside constant engagement with customers to encourage them to share about us with friends and family. We also partnered with brands that were mutually beneficial to spread Jetpac’s awareness through giveaways, shoutouts, and more.

Obtaining the attention of key travel bloggers and affiliates was also a pivotal moment for Jetpac when we started to get reviews and features, accelerating our presence in the eSIM space further.

What has been your biggest company achievement since launching?

Our biggest achievement is the ability to launch from a mere 50+ destinations to the current state of 200+ destinations, coupled with a 10x revenue and customer base growth in 2024.

As a company, how are you giving back?

We partnered with Unconnected back in 2024 to give back to underprivileged children through data connectivity, with the result of us sponsoring a school in Sabah. Moving forward, we have also started sponsoring some up-and-coming teams and individuals in respective domains with data connectivity and more to support their growth journey alongside ours.

How do you see the travel eSIM industry developing over the next few years?

eSIM technology is fundamentally changing the way travelers stay connected. The days of expensive roaming fees, juggling multiple SIM cards, and hunting for a local network upon arrival are quickly fading. As someone who has worked in both the travel and telecom industries, I’ve seen firsthand how eSIMs are simplifying global connectivity for both leisure and business travelers and I expect the trend to continue growing.

The benefits are clear—cost savings, flexibility, and seamless connectivity—but the real impact of eSIM extends beyond convenience. It’s reshaping how telecom providers operate, forcing them to adapt to a more digital-first world. It’s also empowering airlines and travel companies to integrate connectivity into their services, enhancing the overall travel experience.

While challenges like device compatibility and provider availability still exist, the direction is clear: eSIM adoption is growing, and it’s only a matter of time before it becomes the standard for international connectivity. For travelers looking to stay connected effortlessly and affordably, embracing eSIM is no longer an option—it’s the smarter way forward.

As demand for eSIMs grows, telecom providers will inevitably need to adapt. Companies that fail to support eSIM could risk losing customers to more flexible, digital-first providers.

Growth is integral to the life of any business, what growth do you estimate for Jetpac Global over the next three to five years?

We have an internal saying, ‘To the moon!’. That being said, we’re estimating that Jetpac will continue to grow rapidly in this changing landscape and hopefully hit a 50x growth in the next 5 years.
