Tamil Mart is the largest supermarket chain for South Indian products in UAE, celebrating the organic local produce and highlighting the native indigenous grains of South India. The idea was to change the perception about organic food and support livelihood and welfare of farmers by creating a suitable market for their produce.

The new e-commerce platform will also internationalise Tamil products to a wider global consumer base.”

With seven large-format supermarkets, Tamil Mart is the only organised retail chain in the Gulf region that promotes authentic products sourced from the Tamil Nadu state of India, that serves a sizeable community belonging to the South Indian state. Most of the products displayed and sold at the Tamil Mart are genuine, organic, natural and chemical-free products that are crucial for a healthy lifestyle. These are sourced from sustainable agricultural practices.

With more than 4,000 types of products in 15 categories and 100 brands, a shopper will find everything to meet daily, weekly and monthly needs of a modern family, including basic foodstuffs, farm-fresh vegetables, rice, pulses, dal, spices, beverages, snacks, sweets, kitchenware, household items, garments, clothes, accessories, toys that are delivered across the seven emirates.
